Pixel Haze - Blend Telecom

Pixel Haze embraced 5G and 4G connectivity to drastically improve broadband speeds when compared to traditional fibre.

Pixel Haze was founded by experienced website designer Elwyn Davies, who provides plain-spoken technology training and web design for small business owners. Having a fast internet speed is essential for Elwyn and his team to get through a working day accessing cloud based services. Similar to city center locations, rural communities often struggle to get fibre direct to their place of work or home and are left frustrated by extremely slow internet speeds. Pixel Haze is based in Builth Wells, in the heart of Wales and was experiencing those exact frustrations. After consulting with Blend Telecom, Pixel Haze decided to leapfrog fibre technology and advance straight to wireless 4G and 5G. Using a dedicated 4G router, Pixel Haze achieves consistent download speeds between 45MB/s and 55MB/s on the Vodafone 4G network, a considerable improvement on the previous hard wired solution. During a site survey, Blend Telecom noted high potential for speed improvements in the town by clocking download speeds of 372MB/s over 5G. The future broadband speeds for Pixel Haze will only get better as 5G is rolled out further. It is worth noting that all contracts from Blend Telecom are enabled for 5G at no extra cost, futureproofing customers contracts.
