Cara Caring is an agency based in Newport providing high-quality health and care services in South Wales. The Cara Caring staff are constantly conducting field work for their training, consulting and home care services and required portable devices for staff to use on the go.
Blend provided the Cara Caring team with tablets complete with rugged cases to ensure that they withstand constant movement, and dedicated SIM cards for fast internet connectivity without relying on Wi-Fi. The reliance of staff using data to get online ran the risk of surprise fees associated with going over set data limits. Blend’s bespoke online billing platform allows Cara Caring to keep a close eye on data usage, as well as easy set-up of a data cap to warn staff when 80% of their data limit has been reached.
Blend also understood the importance of privacy and data protection concerns for the Cara Caring team and ensured that confidential information stayed private through the use of an encrypted app. In doing so, the Cara Caring team were given the peace of mind that confidential data would never fall into the wrong hands.
