Blend Telecom has helped Heatforce establish a single point of contact for its telecoms services and prepare for the 2027 analogue switch-off by upgrading its existing copper-based system to a digital system with greater Wi-Fi coverage.

Cardiff-based renewable energy experts, Heatforce, wanted to merge all its telecoms services under one local provider to cut costs and increase efficiency across its 120-strong team.

We successfully installed a new VoIP system that has expanded the company’s capabilities by allowing the team to direct out-of-hours calls to engineers, enabling them to quickly respond to and resolve customer queries. The system is equipped with advanced auto attendants and hunt groups, which route incoming calls to the right department at the outset.

This upgrade has enhanced customer service by recording calls for quality assurance and making caller data available, revealing trends and insights into individual customer experiences. Team members who are working remotely can also accept and manage calls through our smartphone app, ensuring quick response and quality service from any location.

We also helped future-proof the business with digital telecom and SoGEA broadband services, preparing it for the 2027 analogue switch-off and keeping it ahead of technological advancements. As a result, Heatforce’s connectivity has improved with better broadband coverage overall, and a secure guest network within its headquarters.
