Philip Hammond promises a major BOOST to YOUR broadband- Great News!!!

In a speech at the annual CBI dinner, The Chancellor promised a major expansion of Britain’s superfast broadband network in a bid to boost the post-Brexit economy- stating “full-fibre connections available to most homes and business by 2025”.

Carolyn Fairbairn, the CBI’s director general said: “By investing in workers, equipment and, crucially, digital and new technologies, the UK can establish itself in pole position for the future. This is also the best way to raise productivity and prosperity in all corners of the country.”

What does this exactly mean?

As Philip Hammond said: “Full-fibre networks are faster, more reliable, and more affordable to operate than their copper predecessors’.”

The majority of UK homes and businesses will be linked to the UPERFAST broadband which will prepare us all for Brexit.
